Is there a manual or beginners guide for Resources Game?

Yes, just click here!  Thanks to our player "Elderman GmbH" for this outstanding work!

I've got trouble getting started...what should I do first?

Go outside and build clay mines! Try to build mines with a quality of at least 40%.  That way you will secure an important base income. If you have enough clay, build a brick factory. Then build more mines, and more and more... etc!
Starting out, you need some patience to get your production rolling. Soon you will have more than enough to do to get through the boring hours of "real life" :-)

How do I level up?

Every action in the game which generates resources or products, or earns or spends money, will earn you level progress.

Only at the black market the progress increase for every transaction is counted only once per hour and per trade partner.

The higher the level, the less XP will be earned for identical actions.

Is there a level cap?

No. For now no level cap is planned. Warehouses and factories can be endlessly expanded. Only the headquarters and special buildings have a level cap of 10.

What are "points"?

With points, the current economic power of a player is measured. This value determines placement in the hall of fame.
The points system is dynamic - that means you can also lose points (for example by demolishing mines or longer periods of inactivity, etc.).
Points are influenced by different factors, amongst others by:

  • Level progress (XP)
  • Production capacity (factories)
  • Level of the special buildings
  • Delivery rate (=amount, performance and delivered resources of the mine)
  • Activity (missions, etc.)
  • Debt balance

What influences the current market rates?

Requests in the black market raise the price of those goods, while selling the goods (on the "Sale" tab) reduces it.

The market rates are also dependent on the rarity of goods, determined by the current amount in the warehouses of all players. More rare goods will therefore react with stronger rate shifts due to requests and sales.

The compass on the scanner map is imprecise

If the directional indicator on your player marker is incorrect, you just have to "shake" your smartphone in all directions or in a figure 8, in order to calibrate the compass.

Resources shows the direction the player is facing with the help of the built-in magnetic compass. For more precise directional data, the integrated gyro-compass is used as well. The downside with this method is that the compass must be "calibrated" for correct orientation. A directional indicator using GPS or network location could avoid this, but would be very inaccurate, and would not work at all if you turn around on the spot.

Can mines be demolished by attacks?

Yes. With every successful attack, the affected mine gets damaged. The amount of damage is determined by chance within a certain range. However, 100% maintained mines cannot be made "demolition-ready" through one single attack. By improving the mines with tech upgrades, the chance of a demolition due to attacks is even lower.

The game loads occasionally extremely slow or not at all

The game tries to always synchronize actions with the server right away. If this is difficult or impossible (for example a bad data connection via EDGE, provider issues, etc.), it can more or less interrupt the flow of the game. The developer regrets such situations and asks you for patience and understanding. Resources is a one-man project developed during free time. The developer is missing the necessary change to buy the Google server farm ;) The technology behind Resources is relatively simple, so that a single financially affordable dedicated server can still handle many players.

I have accidentally sold goods that I didn't want to sell - can I get these back?

No - that is part of the risk in the game! The sale on the normal market was purposefully built so that sales happen quickly and conveniently. That's why there is no pop-up asking you to confirm your sale either.

I have found a bug!

The developer is grateful for bug reports, because it's only thanks to your reports, that can he optimize and improve the game. You can report bugs...

  • via e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
(preferably with your account's e-mail address)
  • via the in-game menu "Report issues..."

The more additional information the developer receives in your report , the sooner he can fix the bug. (for example when and after which action does the bug occur, etc.)

I need help!

Don't despair! Contact the developer!

  • via e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
(preferably with your account's e-mail address)
  • via the in-game menu "Report issues..."

The more information the developer gets about your problem, the faster and better he can help you.

I've purchased something in the App Store, but the items didn't arrive!

No problem - copy the order number or the receipt which you got from Google via e-mail, and send it to the developer at:

  •  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
(preferably with your account's e-mail address)

The developer will verify this and transfer the items as soon as possible into your warehouse.

Is there a browser-based map, like the Intel map in Ingress?

No, not at the moment.
